Since 2012 many travelers taste the best of Old Madrid with a native guide. We will start by giving you a breif and practical introduction to Madrid. You’ll feel the passion of your local guide explaining the wonders of Spanish food and drinks. As a “madrileño”, he/she surely knows what places to hit during the tour. From the older Taverns to the new hit bars offering creative Tapas like Croquettes, Octopus. You will receive our recommendations to try the best specialties Old Madrid has to offer.

Due to Madrid’s mild sunny weather all year round, you can enjoy this unique walking food tour any time. Our guide will advice you about city life and what to do in Madrid (and how to do it like a local!!). What a perfect tour to do on the first day in town, for a limited time in Madrid, etc.

What is a Tapa or a racion? And a Pincho, what is a pintxo? At the end of the tour you’ll be able to easily distinguish between Iberian ham and Serrano ham, taste the best tortilla de patata in Madrid, try garlic shrimp or just a fresh tomato paired with sparkling white wine from Catalonia called Cava, Spanish red and white wines.

We can deliver your dietary needs if you advise prior. Not every tour will provide the same tapas and drinks since each group is different and we’re flexible on that.
