The City Council offers you all the Madrid tourist information and services you need at Plaza Mayor Tourist Center, the Colón Tourist Center or any other tourist information point situated in key areas of the city:

-Plaza de Cibeles and Callao

-Paseo del Arte next to the Reina Sofía Museum

-Madrid-Barajas International Airport Terminals 2 and 4.

On the other hand, it also brings to visitors tourist information Mobile Unit, set up at tourist hotspots such as the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum and El Rastro flea market, and also at some of the city’s most important events. The mobile unit provides visitors with available information on Madrid’s tourist offer from a visual, innovative and direct perspective, since it is fitted out with the latest information technologies.The unit will provide support and informative services and will work with the SAIT (Tourist Assistance and Information Services) during the special campaigns organized for different events that are staged in the city (Book Day, Gay Pride Week, the White Night, World Tourism Day, International Jazz Festival,…). It has two access ramps, with double-height security railings and an information window that can easily be accessed by people in wheelchairs. Opening hours: From 9.30am to 8.30pm

If you are planning a tour,  or you need a map of the city or you want to know what exhibitions and shows are on during your stay in Madrid or any further Madrid Tourist Information.  You can go to one of the city’s Tourist Assistance Services and Information offices and you’ll get all the help you need.

Plaza de Callao Tourist Information Point 

Plaza de Callao, on the corner with C/ Preciados. By metro: Callao (L3 and L5). Open every day from 9.30am to 8.30pm 

Plaza Mayor Tourist Center 

Plaza Mayor, 27 (Salón de Columnas de la Casa de la Panadería). By metro: Sol (L1, L2 and L3) and Ópera (L5). Cercanías: Sol. Open every day from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Plaza de Cibeles Tourist Information Point 

Bulevar, on the corner with Paseo del Prado (opposite to the bus stop). By metro: Banco de España (L2). Open every day from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Paseo del Arte (Art Walk) Tourist Information Point

C/ Santa Isabel (on the corner with Glorieta de Carlos V)  By metro: Atocha (L1). Open hours: Every day from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Colón Tourist Center 

Plaza de Colón (Underground passage; access through Paseo de la Castellana on the corner with Goya). By metro: Colón (L4). Cercanías: Recoletos; Buses: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 37, 40, 45, 51, 52, 53, 74, 146, 149, 150, 152, 202. Open every day from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Tourist Information Screen – Literary Quarter

Center Tourist Information Point

Palacio de Cibeles (Plaza de Cibeles, s/n) By metro: Banco de España (L2). Open from Tuesday to Sunday 10 am to 8 pm. Closed Mondays, 1 and 6 January, 1 May and 24, 25, and 31 December.

Madrid-Barajas Airport Tourist Information Point, at Terminals 2 and 4 

Terminal 2 between arrival halls 5 and 6, and Terminal 4 between arrival halls 10 and 11. By metro: Aeropuerto T1, T2, T3 (L8) and Aeropuerto T4 (L8). Cercanías: Aeropuerto T4. Open every day from 9 am to 8 pm

Foreign Tourist Assistance Service (SATE) offers personalized attention to foreign tourists who, for any reason, may need to visit a Police Station.
